GAYA, in one of the many efforts to make the world a safer and better place, has joined hands with The Helping Hands Foundation (http://helpinghandsindia.in/) to donate masks to the underprivileged in India using the proceeds from the GAYA Mask sales. Every sale assures one mask to the underprivileged, every sale matters!
The coronavirus lockdown had most of us cooped up within the comforts of our homes. On the other side of these walls of privilege, however, a lot of people were struggling to make ends meet. These included the daily wagers, street vendors, construction workers, laborers and slum dwellers who were terribly affected by the economic and social repercussions of the coronavirus. GAYA donated 5000 face masks to BMC to distribute them among the underprivileged.
GAYA contributed to the digitization of two schools- Ranade High School and Raigadh Jilha Parishad School in the village of Thal in Alibaug, Maharashtra by providing E-learning solutions for grades from Nursery to Twelve.
GAYA contributed to the digitization of healthcare facilities in the village of Thal in Maharashtra.
